Gianluca Caldarelli is an emerging artist from Naples born in 1987. His passion for underground music started to show when, at 14 years of age, he listened for the first time, at a friends house, tracks from partys that took place in one of the still major neapolitan clubs “ Disco Metropolis“. At the time being, the events line ups featured international artists like Tedd Patterson, Francois Kevorkien, Tony Humpries, Frankie Knuckles, Little Louie Vega which with their House Music, together with India and Barbara Tucker live vocal performances, just took his breath away.

During the following years his taste for music roamed from house to techno, he started to follow Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice and many others live sets. With this passion growing fast , he decides in 2011 to give a practical input to his emotions with going into production : he opens a Record Label called „Expectancy Records“ together with his long time friend Fabier, with the intention of keeping quality always in mind and collaborating with other emerging artists. Results for all the hard work will come short after, his productions will be played by Loco Dice and Marco Carola with the major reward had during Summer 2013, after releasing with Malicious Smile Records an Ep called „Heavy on beats“ , which will be played over and over by Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Barem, Mendo, Federico Locchi and many others. His own label Expectancy Records has also been supported hugely by the above international DJs.
